Uruguay had the honour of hosting the sixth edition of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in 2018. From 13 November until 1 December, 16 teams competed to win the title. Thirty-two matches were played in three cities: Colonia del Sacramento, Maldonado and Montevideo, which also hosted the semi-finals and final. Spain were eventually crowned champions for the first time in the competition.
A ticket for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Uruguay 2018 provided access to two consecutive matches, so-called “double-headers”, each of which were played on the same day at a specific stadium. Irrespective of the selected category, the ticket remained valid for both matches. Visa remained the preferred method of payment for FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup tickets.
